The Dog Days Are Over

Have you ever thought about how much music influences you? What about how much you hear every day? From your favorite song to the rustling of your sheets as you make your bed. Everything has sound. Have you ever wondered what it would be like it the sound of writing with a pencil would be replaced with long squeaks? that would be strange... that was a bad example. what about if a dog meowed and a cat barked? what would be strange... very strange indeed. But of course if dogs meowed and cats barked then it wouldn't be weird and we would think that it was weird if dogs barked and cats meowed. I'm sorry, i probably lost you in all of that. haha, i seem to be that way sometimes.... i ramble. even in text.

What i was trying to get to is that there are so many good sounds in the world, mainly music. so i have decided to treat you to a list of GREAT songs. ones that i love to jam out to. mellow out to. and then just listen to. =]

Pink

So I have recently found a new respect for pink. It is most definetly a femenine color, but it can also be masculine. take this pitcure for example, don't you like how the only one wearing pink is my Dad? And then me, my sisters and my mother are all wearing black, gray, and white?

This actually makes me thunk back to a blog post that my mom wrote maybe three months ago. It does help you come to undertsnad pink's importance in things.

So, those are my thoughts today... haha

9/11

It has been 10 years since so many people lost loved ones on that terrible september day in 2001. and if you want me to be fully honest, i completely forgot it was 9/11 until I was on my way to church and we passed a big huge event going on with a bunch of mini American flags posted in the grass only sixinches away from each other.
(just a side note. i know the pictures run off the edge of the posting bar, but i wanted to be as bis as possible for you to relly look at them.)

These are costom made flags to honor 9-11 (I didn't take this picture)

After that moment Ireally strated to think about all the people who lost a loved one, I have no doubt many of them are still grieving the loss(es) of loved ones. Over 1000 childred lost on or both parents that day...
Keep those who lost someone in your prayers.
Las Vegas firefighter Capt. Eric Littmann walks in a parade commemorating the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Sept. 11, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev.

A family member of one of the victims of the crash of United Flight 93 walks along a part of the Flight 93 National Memorial following its dedication. The names of the 40 victims of the crash are inscribed on the marble panels.
If you are someone who lost a loved one from 9-11, please know that I am praying for you.

I love all of you. I mean it. Let's make sure to NEVER let this happen again.

The things i need most.

A little while ago i was looking through a bunch of my pictures. I was staring at all the faces of people i see every day and thinking, "how on earth did i get so lucky to have such great people in my life?"

even with all their... quirks.

since then i have been thinking a lot about how much i love everyone, and how everyone needs to love and be loved. I thought about how much i love to document moments and create memories. Every picture has a story. even if they were taken five seconds after one another.

take these two pictures for example. Jenna is doing two completely different things, but i took them only a few seconds after each other. Not only are these two pictures not quite the same, but they also show off just a little bit of the awesome personality of my neighbor, cousin, best friend, and non-biological sister. I still remember that night quite well. While Jenna and i were messing around taking pictures, my two little brothers were cleaning the dishes. The said they would give me a break since i did the the dishes earlier that day.

i could go on and on about all the different ways to document memories and then laugh about them later; but i promise you, you would probably get quite bored.
Well what i am really trying to say is, i am quite thankful for all my loved ones. You all brighten my day and make my burden lighter. Even if i don't talk to you very much, that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about your sweet spirit, because trust me, even thinking about my friends and family makes me laugh.
Anyways, be cool, stay strong, and don't let anyone wipe the smile off your face.

How ridiculous.

I think i know one thing for sure. cowtown is DA BOMB! i got a sweatshirt (i know it is summer) for $15 dollars today. it's retail price is $50. no i am not going to put it on and take a picture of me wearing it because i am currently covered in chicken grease from cleaning ovens at work. (maybe later) you can get movies for five bucks and purses for ten. a pair of earrings from $1-$5 and and kind of Mexican food imaginable. who knew that a flea market could be so awesome? oh wait... i did. that is why i work in the center of it all.

I work in a soft pretzel and chicken stand in the first barn (in case you ever want to go to cowtown to see me) the pretzels are better then Auntie Anne's. (in my opinion.)

i think that the whole reason i am telling ya'll about where i work is because i just got home and have to stand in line for the showers.... be grateful for showers, because one day you might have to stand in line to get one...

as the website says, "Often Imitated, but Never Repeated."

we aren't just a rodeo. we are the most bangin' flea market in the history of flea markets. come see me, i work on Saturdays. =]

Why not?

I made a blog. so if you want to read my blog. be prepared for absolute randomness. because that is what is coming to you. hahaha.
